Why get a Utah Concealed Firearms Permit?
A Utah Concealed Firearms Permit in combination with your state's concealed permit allows you to carry in the maximum number of states. The Utah Concealed Firearms Permit in combination with a North Dakota Concealed Weapons Permit allows concealed carry in the State of Minnesota. Also, the Utah Concealed Firearms Permit in combination with a Minnesota Concealed Weapons Permit allows concealed carry in the State of North Dakota. Minnesota recognizes the Utah permit and does not recognize the North Dakota permit. And, North Dakota recognizes the Utah permit and does not recognize the Minnesota permit. So, the ND + UT or MN + UT permit combination is especially good to have in this region. Utah requires you to have a permit in your state of residence if your state has reciprocity with Utah. North Dakota has reciprocity with Utah and Minnesota recognizes the Utah permit. You have up to one year to file your certified Utah application so you can take the Utah course anytime. North Dakota residents need to have a North Dakota permit before applying for a Utah permit. Minnesota residents need to have a Minnesota permit before applying for a Utah permit.
We have both North Dakota and Utah instructors available and we teach the classes in Grand Forks, ND and the surrounding area. North Dakota permit classes must be taught in North Dakota. The Utah permits can be taught anywhere. If you can organize a group of at least 10 people, we can come to your location. Most of the smaller communities have meeting facilities available to them.
